Hello everyone, i hope this email finds you well. I just wanted to take some time out and and blog about how much i appreciate the many things and jobs MOM's have. I recently attended a get together with some old friends of my for brunch this past Saturday . In the middle of this mini-celebration i was asked, "So, what are you doing knowadays?" Most of my friends have graduated from graduate school--so, they are Lawyers, C.P.A.'s, and one assistant principle--to name a few. I started to ask myself well it really does not do the job to say "Stay at home mom" or "Housewife". I am a full time mom, wife, friend, helper, snack maker, sports coordinator, necklace maker, professional chef (Mexican and Italian specialty), housekeeper, car washer, dry cleaner, laundry washer, grocery shopper, and personal masseuse. Oh but i gave her a break and just said spending time with my family and "LOVING IT!!" I have seen many of your blogs and find it soooo interesting and inspiring to hear your day to day events. We have to be the coolest bunch of MOMs out there. Well, i better go i still have a load of laundry to fold, check on dinner in the oven, help Ales with homework, and get them ready for bed before 8:15pm Well Ladies, i hope you have a good one and thanks for sharing your awesome stories.
Love,
The Gomez Family

Oh girl do I ever hear you! Being a mom full time really is the hardest (but most rewarding job) there is! There are lots of days after homeschooling Katie, running around after Kobe, making everyone breakfast, snacks, lunch and dinner and constantly cleaning up the never ending mess that is created all day that I think...hey, where was my "lunch break" or any kind of break for that matter?! I don't even get to go the bathroom by myself! As soon as I sit down, Kobe is pulling on my pants and whining trying to make me get up, lol. Even my mom, who went through law school and is an attorney says that staying home with me (only ONE kid!) was by far the hardest job she has ever done. So even though we don't get a paycheck or even the credit or respect we deserve by society, our payment comes in the form of thousands of hugs and kisses and getting watch our children grow up and not miss a second of it. :) The best payment I could ever ask for! So pat yourself on the back because you ARE a SUPER mom!!
I know what you mean, but really I would choose to be home with my kids then to be a lawyer, a principal, or any high paid job out there. My time with the kids mean more to me then money. I'd rather be poor and be home with them. There are only 4 things I need in life to make me happy: food on the table, clothes on our backs, a roof over our heads and being surrounded by people who love me. And you and me have all that so we are blessed.
You are a SuperMom!!!!
