Now that the kids are off at school---i have more time to myself...sometimes. :) As most of ya'll know i was employed by NISD in San Antonio, TX as a substitute. I will only be doing this part time. I have recieved my first call to duty which will take place next Friday at Warren High School. I am of course a little nervous, but this is what my degree and certification has trained me for. I have had experience observing many different grade levels, but not actually teaching or managing them by myself. I have such a wonderful support system: My husband, Enzo, and Ales. They really cheer me on. I have decided that when Enzo is about Kindergarten age--i would like to become a full time teacher. I would really like to work at NEISD. They pay more and Ales's school is in that district. This is where i was headed before i had Enzo. Then i decided to just stay home for awhile and i don't regret it. :)
Well, back to my little ones. I was soooo use to them with me all the time. We would pack a lunch and head to Sea World, the zoo, the Witte museum, go to a movie (rainy days), head to the library, and just hang out around the house. I miss my little guys around, but i get to enjoy seeing their faces when i pick them up for school. Ales is back to soccer practice with his team the "Blue Ninjas". He has been playing on this team for 2 1/2 years (thats 4 1/2 seasons: Fall/Spring). I have tried to introduce other sports, but he does not seem to like other sports. Any suggestions? Enzo is daddy's little soccer helper---He loves, loves to play soccer. But, unfortunatley he is not old enough to enroll for CYO,YMCA, or ACSYO. So, we make do and let him practice with Ales's soccer team.
School, homework, and activieties are in full bloom....TGIF!!! I hope everbody is doing great and off to a good start this year.

Substitute Teacher...
Hello Everyone, sorry for the disappearance. I have been going crazy trying to get everything ready for Ales and Enzo's first day of school. Tax free weekend was here and then went.:(
People were fighting for parking spaces, school supplies, and backpacks. We shopped at night on Friday and got most of our tax free shopping done....without getting hurt. :) Ales is ready for a great kindergarten year. Ales starts soccer season again and will be attending his swim lessons throughout the fall semester. Enzo will be in half day school. Kind of a mother's day out program. He is doing very well with wearing his "chones" at school. "Chones" are underpants for some of ya'll who do not know that word. :) I recently got hired with the North Side Independent School district here in San Antonio, Tx. I will be subbing at four different high schools and three middle schools. I am happy about it because it is not permanent and very, very, flexible. I have missed ya'll and love the pics on the blogs.

Oh, my little Enzo...You are the little brother Ales has always dreamed of. We love you so much bubby! :) This is just a little montage of Enzo through the last two years. It seems as if we have more baby pics on our digital camera of Enzo than Ales. Most of Ales's baby pics are on film and in our photo albums. It's funny because i never actually realized that i did not have any baby pics on the digital camera until Ales brought it to my attention. We did not have a digital camera, or even know anything about USB ports, but now we are slowly making our way to the more modern world of technology. It is sooo great that we get to share these memories with friends and family more quickly through this website. Well thanks for sharing with us.
