Well, i don't know where to start. My alma mater was ruined in a disastrous fire last night. This was a place that was my second home for so long. It is a second home to so many other people as well. I cried so much and so long at the sight of this disaster. I saw many collegues and professors step up to offer comfort. I think it hit me the hardest to see Sr. Griffin in fear on the nightly news. This woman is one of the strongest women i know. She is described as tough as nails lady and an avid Dallas Cowboys fans, but when i saw her with tears in her eyes and the sadness on her face---it hit me hard.
Today many of the classes are cancelled and they are working on recovering the building and neighboring buildings. Nobody was hurt---Thank goodness!! :)
