Well, i went to this cute little cupcake shop called Jane's Frosting in san antonio,tx. It is too cute for words. It is a little shop on Main by Fratelli's italian restaurant in a little strip shopping center. It sold small, regular, and Jumbo cupcakes of all kinds. It also sold antiques, bags, designer cooking aprons, and knick knacks, kind of cute only we had small children with us. The store had a cozy appearance, but i was a little disappointed with the cupcake taste. I got a carrot cake, my hubby got an almond joy cupcake, and the boys shared a strawberry and coconut cupcake. They all looked so good in the glass counter, but a little too sweet. Nope, it was alot too sweet. I could not enjoy the cake because it was way too sweet. :( I had an idea about three years ago to open up a cupcake coffee/tea shop. I love making cupcakes!! I have made them for all occasions. I have done bridal showers, baby showers, birthdays, and other various parties for fun. I love to learn about different varieties of cupcakes. My husband and i went on vacation to New York city about a year ago and we saw these cute little cupcake shops all around Manhatten. Some sold cupcakes, sandwiches, bread, etc. with tea, coffee, and slushes. I only want to open up a store that specializes in cupcakes with tea/coffee. I would probably need some other things to incorporate into this plan, but it's a work in progress. I guess there are many of us that have other aspirations than our daily job.
I got my degree in English/History minor with certification 8-12 (i have to update it every five years), but i have not used it since Enzo was born. I wanted to stay home with him for awhile. Well, now that he is turning 3 in June--i will be going back into the workforce at Northside Independent School District. I am already an employee there, but i could never commit to full-time. Now i will be a full timer come this fall 2008. It will be crazy, but i have all summer to refresh and prepare myself. Lately, i have been subbing and tutoring in Northside (subbing & tutoring), Edgewood (tutoring), and Alamo Heights (tutoring). Well, it's only like 20 hours a week. I will officially commit myself this summer to my boys before i head out into the work world once again. So, i just wanted to give the cupcake review at Jane's frosting. It was a cute idea, but needs a little improvement with the flavor. :)

Celebrations, updates, and more....
I can not believe it is Fiesta already in San Antonio, TX. I love it. I love the Carnival, NIOSA (only during the week and early in the day), Flambeau parade, the market square festivities, and the King William parade and Festival. This is a time to be proud of being a San Antonian, besides having a NBA championship basketball team---THE SPURS! :)
Now, i can officially say that summer is on it's way. Hold on tight people because once Fiesta hits it goes by fast. :)
Okay, so we will be moved into our townhome officially by May 1st. Our lease began April 1st, but i wanted to clean the townhome and settle in slowly. I get all anxious and crazy when i am being rushed. I like to take my time and clean before i start to place furniture and other things in rooms.
Ales will be starting 1st grade in a new school next school year and he will be starting communion classes. He will be so busy with school, communion, soccer, and swimming. I feel like those stage moms. I really need to lighten up his load. Then, there is Enzo. He will be old enough to finally start swim lessons and the soccer team. He has been wanting to do these things since he was an infant. I am so happy that we can finally concentrate on him a little more. It was always going to Ales' soccer game or going to Ales' swim lessons. Now it will be Enzo's turn. He is so excited. This will be our challenge trying to attend to both boys and home life. It will be crazy for awhile, but i hope we get the hang of it.
We keep getting asked if we are going to have another child. We would love to add a little girl to our family addition, but i know that with this crazy "economic recession" it will not be feasible to support all of us comfortable. I hope that did not sound selfish. I see the looks of peoples faces when i answer them that we will not be having another baby. Some are actually pleased to see that we are making a choice. Others are kind of weary and think that we are not in passionate, hot, crazy love and want to procreate for the rest of our lives. ;) I just want to tell them that "yes we are still in passionate, hot, crazy love", but we do not need to have five children to prove it. I say if you can afford it--go for it, but for us two will be just fine.
Well, i hope ya'll have a great weekend.

Hello :)
Hello all, I hope this blog finds you well. The last couple of days have not been that great. I feel the pressure of having to get a full time job mounting as we are starting to acquire about home loans as well as other things. I have seen some of the blogs that ya'll have posted and i have picked up on some neat tips when looking or buying for a house. Thanks Ladys! :) Another thing though is bothering me. Have you ever had a week were everything seems to go wrong? I have. :( Not with my family in particular, but with an old friend of mine. My husband and boys are great, but i just seem out of sorts with myfriend J. She is an attorney and works for the District Attorney's office in San Antonio, TX. She got married last year to E.--who is also an attorney. Well, they have a house that they wanted to have the floors done.
J. and E. are very, very cheap when it comes to things like upgrading for the home or car, but when it comes to clothes, jewelry, etc. they go way overboard. It's none of my business, but i say this to you so that you can see where i am coming from with this story. My good friend J. asked my husband to help them apply wood flooring in their entire home. Being the good friends we are we said yes. Well, this turned out to be a mess because we thought we were helping them and not doing it alone. My husband would go over to their house and basically did the preparation to apply wood floors and then came another time and applied it ALONE. During this process, my good friend J. and her husband E. were eating and/or working out. I felt so bad for my husband because we told them that in order to do this we would need their help. Well, she came out saying that she would pay my husband (he has his own construction/remodeling company). We said no and that it would be better if they hired someone to do the job because we are too busy. We thought we were just helping them, but it seems as if they wanted my husband to just do the job. My husband deals with alot of commercial business and is very busy. So, he barely had enough time to breathe between work and helping J. and her husband E. out with the wood flooring.
Well, J. got upset and told us that she was going to ask another friend's spouse to help out. My husband helped her with discount pricing for her floors (they saved $600), delivered her materials (free of charge in one of his work trucks---which saved them like $300 from the place they ordered it from), prepared all the floors in the house for the floors, and laid flooring in one room ALL BY HIMSELF...:)She did not even say thank you. All she said was that she was going to get someone else to finish it. I was so upset because i feel like she did not even appreciate the things we started off doing for them. I could care less if she got somebody else to do the job. This actually was better for us. Luis was getting kind of worn out having to go over her house after work during the week. I feel that she did not even care. She could have said, "Well, thanks guys for your time and help---we really appreciate it," but no. All i got was a lazy "well we will get somebody else to do it." Geez thanks J. :) Okay, sorry for the mess. Talk to ya'll later.
