Hello everyone, i hope everybody's Easter went well. Well, Easter was a blast! We reserved a hotel in Austin, Tx Saturday and left Sunday night. We walked all day long on Saturday in downtown Austin. We love, love the whole Foods Market. It has amazing mini food stations. They actually had Turkish delights at the candy station. It was great. Turkish delights are like jelly candies covered with white powder sugar. YUM! YUM!
We had planned on having an easter egg hunt at Zilker park, but it seemed that people do the same thing that San Antonians do on Easter.....they camp out days and hours beforehand to reserve their spot at the park. It was crazy. We did not even drive into the park because we saw a line of cars that lead from barton springs road almost to the Palmer center on 1st street (this is almost like a mile away and this did not include the line to park beyond the entrance). Our plan 'b' worked out great though. We decided to take a trip to the Capital again (we had gone on saturday night to see it all lit up) and we had a little easter egg hunt there. One side of the capital grounds was barely being visited and we quickly decided to hide the little plastic eggs for the boys. I don't think it was allowed, but we did it anyway. This lead to others doing the same thing and i think a police office person started to notice. OOPS...So enjoy the pics and i will talk to ya'll later.
