I am addicted to Zapp's Kettle Jalapeno chips. They are so greasy and yummy. I need to vent my addictions to: Godiva chocolate (i have to have a truffle, everytime i go to the mall), Marble slab coconut ice cream( we are trying to cut down because it makes us feel bloaty--interesting?), Jason's Deli strawberry shortcake (i always order it when we go there--even if i am not that hungry), Fruit Roll ups strawberry ( i could eat the whole box in two days) and i am sure there are more but i have listed the major ones. Ok, i am sorry for my rant on my addiction. I have to vent it out to get over it and move on to other healthier choices. I really want to start eating healthy and working out. I figured that i would start off by eating healthier.
We do not drink sodas (except on occassion Root Beer or Sprite--which has alot of sugar). I include at least one green vegatable at every meal. This never goes successfully because my husband does not like any kind of green food and the kids follow suit. Does anybody have any healthy alternative snacks for kids and adults?
I eat a yoplait (low fat) yogurt and granola for breakfast. I have a banana for afternoon snack and then i plummet into junk food hell for lunch. Dinner time rolls around and i cook up the same old meatloaf, spaghetti or lasagna, bagged Bottoli's pasta, or Tyson's frozen chicken patties or chicken fried steak patties. We are on a budget of like $80/week for food, but i fear that buying healthy food will make us go over. So, what gives. I feel that in order to go healthy we have to break our budget.
Well, i am going to start researching recipes and clipping out more coupons. I moved on from clipping coupons for food to clipping coupons for tolietries (shavers, toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, and spray sanitizers). Do they have coupons for gas? j/k :)
Well, thanks for listening.

Hello :)
Hello Everybody,
I hope everyone is doing well. Sorry i have not updated a new post in awhile, but we are so busy this new year. Enzo has a cast (as previously mentioned in last post), we are moving in the month of April, searching for a new car, Ales will be transferring to a new school, and i am trying to lose weight. I am sure i have left a few things out. Well, i just wanted to let you know that i really, really enjoy reading all of your blogs. They put a smile on my face, make me laugh, and sometimes make me cry (a good cry). We will still be in the San Antonio area. So, no worries. :)
Enzo gets his cast off today and we can not wait. That thing was starting to become apart of his leg. ;) I have been subbing at O'Connor H.S. alot lately. The teacher there has been out quite a bit. She is great though. I will officially start to post for a teaching position next year. Enzo is ready to fly from the nest. He has been fully potty trained since he was 18 months old, he knows how to put his own shirt, undies, and pants on. We are working on putting our socks and shoes on at the moment. He knows all of his colors and some of his shapes (he gets a square and rectangle mixed up as well as a diamond and a triangle). Ales is doing great in school, as well. He was chosen as to be a student mentor in his class. He helps others in his class to read assignments or to spell practice words. This really gives him a confidence boost. :)
Luis is trying to expand his business into real estate investments. He has been working hard on this for about a year now. So, we are happy and so very, very, very, busy.
We are going to the kite festival up in Austin, Tx this sunday. So stay tuned for pics. :) Take care.
