What Happened?

I have been asked this question alot recently. So, i will answer it in a blog. :) Enzo fractured his tibia leg bone over the weekend. He is doing better. It was a hairline fracture and is common for young children. This is how it happened: I was out doing my shopping and the guys (Luis, Ales, and Enzo) went to the park. San Antonio actually had some nice breezy weather this past weekend. Ales and Enzo decided to ride down the slide together. Enzo was in between Ales' legs while sliding. Well, Enzo got scared and tried to bring them to a hault while sliding down. His leg got caught and bent backwards carrying his 32 pound weight and his big brother's 52 pound weight as well. :( Nobody heard a pop or crack, but Enzo would not walk on it and it just seemed that he sprained his ankle. Well, we decide to put ice and an ace bandage on it at home. We let him sleep on it and thought tomorrow it would be better. Nope! He still could not put any weight on it. He refused to walk on it. There was no swelling or redness and we could not really get a straight answer out of him. He kept telling us his knee, then his leg, then his ankle, then his toes and foot. Finally, we take him to the E.R. Yep! The X-ray shows a small faint line on his tibia bone. The doctor said it is common on small children and that he would need a cast for four weeks. Enzo actually got excited because he got to choose a color and we all drew pictures and signed it. He even got a walking shoe that is too cute! :) He feels a little better, but taking a bath is a workout. Well, i hope everyone is good and sound. Take care...:)

Attack of the Ladybugs!!!

OMG! We have had tons of ladybugs in bathrooms, laundry room, den, and living room---this past week. At first, we spotted only three ladybugs around the house. Now, there is like twenty of them roaming around the house. They are not smelly or ugly and they do not bite, but it just kind of creeps me out that they are all here. I went online to figure it out and it stated that this is the season for them. "Ladybugs are looking for a place to hibernate. They are attracted to light colored homes, usually older homes and they are attracted to heat that the homes reflect ( The Ladybug Lady <http://www.ladybuglady.com/infestation.htm>)." Today, i do not see as many. No, we are not ladybug killers. I hope this brings us alot of luck for the new year! ;) Well, i have to go and pick up Ales at school. Talk to ya'll later.

Love,
