Happy 6th Birthday Alessandro!!!

Hello all, Ales just turned six on July 30th, 2007. My baby is growing sooo fast. He is into soccer, transformers, and Pirates. His party was a blast and all of his friends had fun. Well, we are doing good and are about to start getting ready for school...Although, school doesn't start until August 27th--we need to shop for clothes, shoes, and supplies. Thanks for stopping by. My Men..

Hello everyone, yesterday we went to visit a friend of ours in Austin. We went to Zilker park and played soccer and Ales rode his bike. We are so proud of Ales because he has recently learned to ride his bike without training wheels. Enzo is also loving and learning how to play soccer. We are sooo proud of our boys. Later that evening we took the boys to see the capital. The boys were amazed at how high the ceiling was inside. This is our second time going to the capital with the boys, but now that they are a little bigger and they are learning to appreciate. The boys also got a haircut. We were trying for the long look, but it did not work well. There hair is a little shorter than we are use to, but it looks okay. Well, here are some pics. So enjoy! :)

Hemisfair Park Day!! :)

Hey all, just wanted to share some cute pics of the boys at Hemisfair Park. The boys had such a great time today. We also went to the Central public library and checked out another five books. Enzo loves...loves the David Shannon No David! books. Everything is no David this and no David that. He is such a stinker. Ales is into Pirates and I Spy books. I on the other hand am into creative nonfiction books at the moment. I love Lee Gutkind. He is such an amazing writer. His books are inspiring and very personal. I would recommend reading his book Forever Fat. No, it is not a diet book but actually a book about triumph and rebirth. As for movies in the nonfiction range, Running with Scissors was a great one. Well, we had a pretty long day today and i have to get the kids in the bathe. So, take care and talk to ya'll later.

Summer Fun!!

Hello, The Gomez Family has been on hyperdrive lately. We have gone to the Witte Museum on Tuesdays (Family Free day), the Zoo on Fridays, and SeaWorld every other day. On top of all that fun, we have been getting ready for Ales 6th birthday party. We will be throwing him a party at the San Antonio Children's Museum on July 29th. He is all about Pirates, transformers, and ninjas right now. Enzo is growing and loves Ratatouille. He repeats everything he hears. He repeatedly says, "Boom Baby"! I have to watch with him because he says it to anybody the passes by. Well, the summer seems to be going by really fast to me. I am glad to have this post to keep in touch with everybody. Rain, Rain, and More Rain...

It has been raining nonstop over the past couple of days. I love it when it rains!!! :) The kids enjoyed learning about the water cycle (precipitation,infiltration, evaporation, condensation) and the constructs of thunder and lightning. The bad part about it was the sun coming out after the rain. It would come out randomly and then the attack of the mosquitoes was on. I sprayed the boys legs, feet, arms, and clothes with OFF! but those darn buggers got them in the oddest places. Enzo got one on his forhead, one in between his fingers, and two on his ear. Ales got a mosquito bite on his cheek and ear. We love San Antonio, but hate the rabid amount of mosquitoes that live here. Well, we will post some crazy pics soon. Camera is out of commission.
